The "Defenders of Style" are a Leeds based hip-hop crew consisting of four MCÕs (Jack Danz, Disgust, Prys, Joe snow,) and one DJ. (DJ Sirplus.) Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, the crew have been making music together and have just released a new mixtape to add to their back catalogue.

Dirty Sterling is a 14 track mixtape spawned from the underbelly of the economic slump. Featuring wisdom from Jack Flash, Minas And Phoenix (fly tippers,) Deeflux, Teknico, J.Bravo, Matter, Lego, walt dismal and Synapz, The tape offers a powerful insight into northern philosophy.
The mixtape was produced, recorded and mastered by Jack Danz. All turntablism on the tape was done by DJ Sirplus.
