Sammy Doodle - Wasted Youth (Audio)

Introspective Hip-Hop artist from the New York & New Jersey area speaking his piece on beats. Recently releasing his first full-length album on Eyeball Records entitled "The History Of The Soul", Sammy Doodle is ready to open up to a broader audience with his socially conscious aggressive Hip-Hop stylings. Having played local area shows from Hoboken to Brooklyn, and opening up for underground acts such as Ill Bill from La Coka Nostra, spreading outward is the only direction he's seeing in his future. Having grown up in Staten Island, New York before living in Northern New Jersey for the last decade his style and approach to Hip-Hop is deeply rooted in the area's musical history, including such influences as Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep and Nas. In addition he's also traveled extensively in his lifetime, accumulating life experiences from visits to countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. As a result his opened world view, as well as understanding of the New York way of life have shaped his lyrics allowing him to speak to the souls of those with an ear to hear.
